"Travel Safe When Alone" women helpline Service.

On the occasion of Women's Day, MTNL Mumbai in collaboration with Mumbai Police has launched SMS based service "Travel Safe When Alone". This service is specially launched for safety of women when traveling alone or during odd hours.
As the crime against women is increasing day by day, this SMS based service will allow any person to send the information about taxi/auto number etc through SMS to 9969777888.

The Information send through SMS will be stored in MTNL server. In the eventuality of mishap the stored information will be used by the Mumbai Police for further investigation.
